Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) heeft op de Tokyo Game Show aangekondigd dat de draadloze DUALSHOCK®3-controller eraan komt. Dit is een nieuwe controller voor PLAYSTATION 3 mét trilfunctie.
De nieuwe DUALSHOCK 3 behoudt dan wel het klassieke ontwerp en de functies van de draadloze SIXAXIS-controller, maar voegt aan het huidige, bijzonder realistische en bewegingsgevoelige systeem een trilfunctie toe die ervoor zorgt dat je nu nog meer in je games kunt opgaan.

SCEI heeft ook aangekondigd dat een aantal PS3-games de nieuwe DUALSHOCK 3 nu al ondersteunen en dat andere games, zoals MotorStorm, Resistance: Fall of Man en Warhawk, door middel van een software-update met de nieuwe controller compatibel zullen zijn. Weet iemand of het ook met Tekken 5 DR werkt?

Denk het niet, tenzij Namco daar een patch voor maakt. Het spel was al verkrijgbaar, voordat Sony deze controller aankondigde.

Ok maar bij sommige spellen in het lijstje van bovenstaand artikel staat:
*1 Gebruikers kunnen met behulp van een software-update van de trilfunctie profiteren.
Bijv bij Motorstorm doen ze dat en dit spel was veel eerder uit dan Tekken, dus wie weet...

Het lijkt me dan chill er toch zo een witte bij te hebben, de sixaxis die voelt ook ietslichter aan, wat verholpen wordt door die trilfunctie, er zin toch multiplayergames.....
