Seventeen years ago, Astral Gates that lead to Astral
Chaos began to appear far more frequently than
before.
Diametrically opposed forces have kept the worlds in
equilibrium, but these interdimensional rifts threaten to
shatter that delicate balance. Recognizing the danger,
Kilik has been sealing the rifts with the power of the
Kali-Yuga.
In the process of fighting this lonely battle, Kilik would
encounter the souls that wander through Astral
Chaos. From these souls he gained knowledge of the
techniques they commanded in life, as well as the
methods that led to their deaths.
But contact with Astral Chaos befouls the body,
causing Kilik to slowly dissolve into chaos himself.
The further he strays from his identity as an individual,
the closer he comes to oblivion, where even his soul
will be lost.
