So, the T6BR Location Test was this Saturday and Sunday at an arcade near my place. I got about 6-7 hours in and I am here to report.
f+1+2, contrary to what everyone is saying, is not a butt move, it is a shoulder that looks similar to Paul's / Feng's shoulder. Kinda looks like Asuka's shoulder elbow things she does. It is quite useful to punish ducking opponents from a distance...it covers more distance than a random hopkick. Seems like it may have properties close to Armor King's shoulder move.
b+4,4 very interesting move. If I remember correctly b+4 used to do the kick where she kicks over her head...was a high move I think, well it has been replaced with a new MUCH better move. It is really strange looking...the first b+4 is a mid (I think) and then you can press 4 again and it does a high that leaves in RDS.
RDS f,f+1 - Wow, this move is nutty. I didn't use it too much because I am not used to it and it always left me in awkward positions. Pretty much she fakes her normal RDS, 1 elbow, jumps over her opponent and goes into AoP....but every time I was using it I would be left in AoP BACKTURNED. Not sure if that is the property of the move or if I just had bad luck 5 times in a row.
AoP, 1,2 - Excellent new move IMO. It works a lot like her AoP, 2,1 however I think the first hit is low and the second mid, after second hit you can do RDS. It looks a a bit wanky however I was landing at least one of the two hits almost everytime and being to take it into RDS was very useful.
RDS, d+3 - Well, we asked for it and we got it....kinda....a new RDS low move. And it trips on non-counter for free combo! Properties seem to by like a CH SS+4...a quick little trip. One good think, one bad thing I noticed so far. Good thing is that it has major reach...kinda like SS+3, bad thing is that like SS+3 you can see it coming a mile away. I was catching people with it a lot but that was jsut cause they weren't used to it yet. It might be useful, and I actually liked it, but I am a little worried if it will be usable once people catch on to it.
Now for the BEST addition to her!
d/f+3, 4 - Thank you Namco! IMO her best new addition. Hard to explain though. The initial d/f+3 she lifts her leg up and slaps it down, looking like she is gonna do the splits, it goes into AoP too! Not only that it seems like it had bound properties because if I hit with it I always able to combo from it. What makes this move great is that you can follow the d/f+3 with the 4, where it does a kick out of AoP. This kick is different that her normal AoP, 4. The new one has more range and looks cooler. If the 4 hits it knocks down the opponent as well setting you up for fun oki game. What I was doing after that 4 hits and knocks down is the b+3 (fuck or is it b+4, I always forget) push catch thingy. If they don't move or try to roll back it will catch them for a free combo. I have a feeling this move will be her new staple move. I think you can use it in the middle of combos too....for example start combo, d/f+3 AoP, u/f+4, WS 2....so on....
Other changes -
AoP, 2,1 on the second hit it pushes the opponent 100% out of reach. I thought it was shitty but then again that means it pushes into a wall easier.
Her evasion is beefed up. Not quite TTT but much better than the original T6.
